Scandinavian-designed furniture, interior and storage pieces - for indoor and outdoor living. Creating everyday comfort since 1895. We care about quality.

Made for real life - timeless, durable and designed to feel like home. Everyday design that feels like home. At Cinas, we believe that the best things in life aren’t flashy or fast - they’re the quiet moments that happen on an ordinary Tuesday on the terrace, a slow Sunday in the sun, or a calm Wednesday with coffee and time to breathe. That’s why we create furniture, interior pieces and storage solutions designed for real life. Timeless, Scandinavian-inspired, and made from durable materials that age beautifully - pieces that feel right from the moment you bring them home, and still do years later. Whether you’re refreshing your outdoor space, reorganising your home, or simply surrounding yourself with beautiful things that make sense, we’re here to help you make the most of your everyday. We care about comfort. And we care about creating long-lasting designs that support the life you live - not the one you’re trying to impress anyone with.

A good book. A warm cup. A corner of your own ☕📖

As the days grow shorter, there’s something lovely about settling indoors with a story you can get lost in.

Our Eya lounge chair combines warm teak with handwoven paperloom, adding natural texture and a relaxed feel to a quiet reading corner.

The matching teak side table keeps your coffee, tea and next chapter close at hand.

Bring a soft blanket, make yourself comfortable and let the afternoon take its time.

What’s on your reading list this autumn 🤎?

A practical little helper, with a place of its own 🤎

At home with , our Skala step stool in bamboo becomes part of a lovely, quiet corner.

Its light, natural tones sit beautifully alongside a woven basket and a simple ceramic vase.

And when it’s time to reach a higher shelf or pull up an extra seat, it’s right there, ready to help.

That’s the charm of Skala: useful throughout the day, with a simple design you’re happy to leave on display.

Choose from bamboo, teak, white-painted mahogany or matt black-painted mahogany - four different expressions to suit your home.

Thank you for sharing your lovely styling, .

Next stop: Brussels 🇧🇪🤎

Whether you’re exploring on foot or catching a ride around the fair, we hope you’ll make a stop at Cinas.

We’re joining Brussels Furniture Fair for the very first time, bringing a little outdoor living with us.

Come and take a seat, run your hand over the teak and explore the details up close.

There’s something lovely about discovering furniture in person - and meeting the people behind it.

We’d love to hear what brings you to Brussels and what you’re looking for, whether we’re catching up or meeting for the first time.

A little Halloween spirit at the garden table 🎃🤎

The warm tones and natural grain of teak make a lovely backdrop for autumn’s little additions: a few pumpkins, some dried stems and a blanket ready for when the air turns chilly.

With our Ellen chairs around the Butterfly table, we’re making the most of those October afternoons when there’s still sunshine to enjoy and time for another cup of coffee outside.

Perhaps a neighbour will stop by. Perhaps the coffee will turn into a long conversation.

Those are the moments we like to make room for.

We’ll leave a seat for you. Even if you arrive on a broomstick 🧹😉

A little warmth for the cooler days 🤎

When the air turns chilly, a warm shower and a soft towel can feel like the loveliest way to end the day.

Our RIB teak stool adds warm wood tones and simple, graphic lines to this bathroom corner, keeping freshly folded towels close at hand and leaving a little space for slippers below.

Sometimes, it’s these small details that make our daily routines feel more inviting.

A quiet moment to slow down and enjoy a little wellness at home.

A little hide-and-seek in Andrea’s garden… can you spot the birdhouse🐦🤎?

Our much-loved teak bird feeder has found lovely company in our new birdhouse. And what a beautiful setting for them both.

The first birdhouses have almost all flown off the shelves before we’ve even had a chance to photograph them, so receiving this lovely picture from Andrea was an extra treat.

These smaller designs are part of something we’re working on at Cinas: finding more ways to use the smaller pieces and outer parts of the teak, so less wood goes to waste.

Those pieces can vary more in colour, giving each birdhouse its own character from the beginning. As daylight and time work their magic, the tones gradually soften and blend.

It makes us happy to give these smaller pieces a purpose - and hopefully a few feathered neighbours a new home 🌿

Thank you, Andrea, for sharing this little corner of your garden with us 🤎

A little place for your soap 🧼🤎

The classic bar of soap has found its way back to sinks in kitchens and bathrooms.

And naturally, it needs somewhere to live.

Our Everyday soap dish is made from teak with a simple slatted design that keeps the soap raised from the surface.

Small, practical and easy to find room for - by the bathroom basin, kitchen sink or wherever soap is part of everyday life.

Because even soap deserves a good place to call home 🫧

And the soap dish is just one small part of our Everyday collection. Discover the full Everyday collection here: https://www.cinas.com/collections/everyday

Looking back to move forward 🤎

As we continue working on our new website, we’re spending quite a lot of time looking ahead.

New product presentations. More knowledge about our materials. Better guidance on care and maintenance. And plenty of details still to refine.

But strangely enough, looking ahead also means looking back.

Going through the Cinas archives, old stories and photographs helps us understand where we came from - and sometimes little treasures like this one turn up.

This is Christian Wibroe in 1984.

Christian joined Cinas in 1983 and, three years later, the Wibroe family took over the company.

It was also during these years that Christian began building trading relationships in China, at a time when the country was gradually opening up to international trade.

Relationships were built, trust developed and business grew over the years. Many of those connections have continued across generations - today with a new generation involved on both sides.

Christian has since handed over the day-to-day running of Cinas to the next generation. But now 80, he still follows the company closely, including through his role on the board.

More than four decades have passed since this photograph was taken. A lot has changed since then. But some things haven't.

Strong relationships take time. And sometimes, looking back helps us shape what comes next 🤎

It’s that time of year at Cinas again 📦

Our team is working its way through the warehouse with checklists and pencils in hand.

Chairs are counted, product numbers checked and figures compared with what’s in stock.

It’s a big job, with plenty of trips up and down the aisles.

But knowing what we have on hand helps us give customers clear answers and plan for the months ahead.

Here’s a look at the colleagues behind the numbers - working their way through the boxes to an ’80s playlist.

Some of those songs came out long before Sofie, on the pictures, was born 😉🎶
