Iskos-Berlin drew this wall lamp for Muuto.

It is a large, round surface of white textile. The light it gives is soft and diffused. It is a lamp that softens the light, but also the room it hangs in.

The Calm Wall Lamp is 68 centimetres wide. It is meant to be a sculptural element on the wall, bringing a quiet light to any room.

Simon Legald's designs for Normann Copenhagen show a consistent approach to form and material.

The Circus Velour Pouf, for instance, reinterprets a classic Moroccan design. It uses two types of HR foam: a firmer one at the base for stability and a softer one on top for comfort. The cover is JAB City Velvet, a dense polyester velour, soft to the touch.

This attention to both structure and surface is a hallmark of Legald's work. Each piece is designed to last, both in its construction and its quiet visual presence in a room.

Everyone measures the table. But have you measured the doorway?

That's the one that decides it. Then the turn in the hall, and the gap under the top.

Take those three and we can do the rest.

Look at what the Eiffel stands on.

Sandblasted travertine, on a floor lamp. The weight has to go somewhere, and Krøyer-Sætter-Læssen put it where you'd see it.

Yo is rotation moulded plastic. Cone Shade hangs. Calm sits almost flat against the wall.

Each of them puts the weight somewhere else.

Powder coating says: this is the colour, stop here. Raw brass says: give it time.

The bench, the stool and the shelf are sealed. The light is bare, so it'll keep changing on you.

Norm Architects drew the table. Note Design Studio drew the modular sofa and the lamp.

They were working separately, and none of them were drawing for the same room.

They still go in one.

8 millimetre board, and every choice left to you.

Size first, then colour, then feet or a plinth or castors or a wall mount.

Montana Mini comes in 10 colours. Selection comes in 40. Good luck.

We've been choosing furniture since 1907. Not making it. Choosing it.

That's the job. You walk the floor, you look at the joint, and you decide whether a piece deserves to be in somebody's room.

What we take goes out from Denmark to more than 20 countries in Europe.

And a showroom opens in Hobro in the spring of 2027, the same spring we turn 120.
