On Friday, AmCham Estonia welcomed Prime Minister Kristen Michal to our 21st Annual Meeting with the Prime Minister, bringing together AmCham members, partners, and colleagues from the British-Estonian Chamber of Commerce, FECC Suomalais-virolainen kauppakamari Soome-Eesti Kaubanduskoda, and German Estonian Chamber of Commerce.

PM Michal shared his perspective on Ukraine, Estonia’s economy, a more efficient state, and one particularly exciting ambition: making Estonia a leader in AI adoption.

A lively Q&A followed — with more questions than we had time for! — before we wrapped up with a fantastic networking lunch.

We are delighted to welcome Ian Brown, the new Chief of the Economic and Political Section at the U.S. Embassy in Estonia, and Grace Lange, Economic Officer, to Tallinn!

Together with the long-standing members of the Embassy’s Economic Section, Reene Moschella and Taimi Veedla, Ian and Grace form a key team that is directly engaged with the American Chamber of Commerce in Estonia (AmCham Estonia) and our members on important economic issues, trade and investment, and business-related topics.

Today, AmCham Estonia Board Member Greg Grace, CGO of Roofit Solar Energy, joined the “AI as a Catalyst for Business Transformation” panel at ÄND Women Shaping the Future 2026.

Great to see AmCham represented in a timely discussion on AI, leadership and business growth.

Yesterday, the AmCham Estonia Board took our annual retreat to Rapla - and what a day it was!

A huge thank-you to Carl Pucci and EO59 for hosting and powering an unforgettable experience. And yes, Carl added a special touch: a helicopter flight giving us a bird’s-eye view of Rapla! 🚁 Definitely not your average Board meeting!

Our packed day included:

- Riigimaja & meetings with local business and municipality representatives (Reelika Vaabel of Raplamaa Arendus- ja Ettevõtluskeskus, Evali Mülts of HellermannTyton OÜ, and a Deputy Mayor of Rapla vald Doris Lisett Rudnevs.

The Board brainstormed two key priorities:
1️⃣ Fundraising & charity activities for 2026 and beyond
2️⃣ Plans for AmCham’s 30th Anniversary in 2027

Great conversations, new perspectives, strong connections — and plenty of ideas to turn into action.

Happy Day of Restoration of Independence, Estonia! 🇪🇪

Today marks 35 years since Estonia restored its independence on August 20, 1991.

This special day honours the courage, resilience and democratic spirit of the Estonian people. We join Estonia in celebrating its independence, achievements and promising future.

What a great way to kick off the new business season than to gather on the rooftop for a beautiful evening of networking and cheer!

On August 18, 60+ AmCham Estonia members came together at Novotel Tallinn Rooftop for our End of Summer Mixer — an evening filled with great conversations, new connections, and plenty of summer energy. 🥂
As we transition into the autumn business season, it was wonderful to reconnect with familiar faces, welcome new members, exchange ideas, and simply enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed setting.

A huge thank you to Novotel Tallinn for hosting us and providing the perfect rooftop atmosphere for the evening!
