From Paper to Surprise ⚡🍫
During this workshop, kids explored origami by creating their own Pikachu box ⚡
At the end, volunteers secretly added chocolates inside to surprise them 🍫✨
Each fold became part of a fun and engaging process, turning simple paper into something meaningful and joyful! 🤩
Learning through play was at the center of the session, helping children express themselves while having fun together. That’s why on the behining of the workshop we also played an energizer where children had to jump to one side depending on the color and shape called out in English 🎨🔺🟦
Many thanks to our volunteers: .ragb.2, and for their involvement and amazing energy throughout the workshop! ✨

Frame it 🖼️🌴
🏜️ 📚 After their love for clay in the last session, we gave children the chance to create freely again! This time, they shaped things they recognize from Siwa, while learning their names in English!
💭✨From familiar objects to local symbols, each creation reflected their environment and imagination. To finish, they framed their artwork and took it home with pride.
A special thanks to for warmly hosting this workshop and to our ESC volunteers and 💛

This week, as we continue honoring our volunteers, we’re proud to dedicate this post to the incredible Amira ✨
✨🦸♀️ This week, as we continue honoring our volunteers, we’re proud to dedicate this post to the incredible Amira, an artist who found her place through creating and sharing with others 🎨
🌱 Through her experience with Torraha, she grew more patient, present, and deeply connected, both in her work and within herself
💫 🫂 Sometimes, it’s the smallest moments that stay forever: a drawing, a smile, a simple “I love you”
A reminder that being genuine is what truly makes an impact 🤍

What’s in My Hands? ✨🙌
In this fun workshop, children completed a character by imagining what they were holding. From everyday objects to totally creative ideas, each drawing became a unique story 🎨✍️
As always, non-formal education was part of the experience, with outdoor energizers mixing learning and fun: games using a stick, a ball, and chalk to draw spaces like sun, sea, and land ☀️🌊🍃
A big thank you to our volunteers : .013, and for their help, créativité and great ideas throughout the workshop !

A big thank you to the Crossroads students, who joined this workshop as part of their school trip from Cairo to Siwa, and let their creativity truly shine by giving a second life to plastic bottles, transforming them into unique and colorful flower pots 🌱♻️
With imagination and enthusiasm, each child created their own design: from bees 🐝 to pineapples 🍍, swans 🦢 and even teapots 🫖. Every piece was different, reflecting their personality and creativity. It was inspiring to see how simple materials could turn into such original and lively creations !
Each creation reflected their personality and showed how creativity can turn everyday objects into something meaningful and beautiful. 🎨👩🎨
A special thanks to Ola Restaurant for warmly hosting this workshop 💛

Dreamhouse Project 🏡✨
In Siwa, children were invited to imagine and create their own dream world! Using oil crayons, they drew their dream houses, full of colors and unique details. Then, with clay, they brought their families and pets to life 🐶👨👩👧👦.
Beyond creativity, the workshop also focused on learning English vocabulary related to home and family, in a fun and interactive way. 🧙♀️✍️
A big thank you to our two ESC volunteers and for their support, and to for warmly hosting this workshop 💛

Twist, Shape, Create! 🌀✨
This workshop mixed creativity and play! Using colorful pipe cleaners, children created fun and useful objects: a bunny for a pen 🖊️, star decorations ⭐, and butterflies turned into rings and hair ties 🦋💍.
We also reused leather strips from an old bag ♻️ to give new life to materials.
The session included outdoor energizers with balloon games 🎈 focused on coordination and teamwork.
A big thank you to our three volunteers .013, and for their energy and support 💛

This week, meet a volunteer whose journey in Siwa became more than just an experience 🌍✨
Professionally, Inès sharpened real skills: project management, event organization, teaching, intercultural communication, and even social media management.
Personally, the experience was transformative. Connecting with the Siwa community : its warmth, generosity, and culture deepened her commitment to solidarity and reminded her of what truly matters: human connection. As she puts it, she left with “cherished memories and invaluable lessons” that will shape her forever 💫
Inès didn’t just take part in Siwa : she left an unforgettable mark in Egypt, in the hearts of everyone she met 🤍

“From numbers to animals…” Workshop in Siwa
🔢 This time in Siwa, creativity started from something simple: numbers
🦉🐟✨ With our two ESC volunteers and at , the children discovered how “2 and 2” can turn into owls, and how Amazigh numbers can become a fish. From a simple base, each child created their own artwork, playing with shapes, symbols, and meanings. It was not just about drawing, but about seeing differently : how numbers can become stories, and lines can become life.
📚💬 As always, fun meets learning: while drawing, the kids also practiced English in a playful way
💛 A joyful workshop where imagination, culture, and language come together

🌴✨ Dream Workshop in Siwa Oasis ✨🌴
This week, we held a special workshop in the beautiful Siwa Oasis with our new volunteer, Lieke (Lili) from Netherlands 🇱🇺 💛🌷
We crafted dreamcatchers from date twigs, making use of nature’s own resources : the twigs are a residual product in Siwa, now transformed into art. 🌿
Our theme was dreams: What do you dream of in your life? What do you want to achieve? Work on it and make it grow! 🌱→🌴
A dreamcatcher will guard your dreams for you and help you to realise them. 🌸
To end the day, we learned our first song on the guitar together, filling the oasis with music, creativity, and hope. 🎶💛
