Flux Launches it’s “Colors” table at the “+20 Egypt Design”
The “Colors” table is the fruit of the second Design + industry workshop organized by Rhimal and sponsored by the EFEC.
The Brainchild of “Gum Design” (Laura Fiaschi & Gabriele Pardi), the “Colors” table is meant as a symbol of the diversity and variety of life essences that characterize the city of Cairo.
The overlapping elements, signs, people and traditions that form the heart and roots of the city are thus re-interpreted through a series of uneven stacked strips of colored acrylic.
Each strip is different in size, color and thickness and originates from working waste material therefore creating a unique table.
Flux has been selected to exhibit in the “+20 Egypt design” that will take place in the Suhaymi house, El Muiz street from the 3rd to the 7th of June.
Our “Golden Tears” table (designed by Lita Albequerque and Karim Kafrawi) and our “Colors” table (designed by “Gum Design”) will both be on display.
