Another farmhouse style bench made from bed headboard and foot 💞

A lot of elbow grease was put into cleaning rust and old paint 😅 Voilà!

I love old wooden door! It has got so much potential.
This one is big enough to make 2 tables, only 1 finished so far, so keep your eyes peeled!

So, these were very damaged, dirty chairs, all the beautiful carved design was full of ages old grease and dirt.
But after many hours of cleaning, wiring, sanding, they show their beauty again.
More importantly, they can be sat on again!

With this neverending rain I finally had a chance to transform the old fashioned furniture in the other bedrooms.
The pictures are not easy to take on this dull day but I just couldn't wait to share it!

I gave my bedroom a new, fresher look.
The furniture set is very good quality but dark wood is not 'in' and it looked old fashioned.
Headboard is made from old door!

I enjoyed working on this mirror, it needed a lot of detailing, thinking and patience!
The frame has been reinforced, I have created some missing pieces and I have completely redone the border moulding. Painted first 2 coats black and brushed on gold metallic paint.
It was a long a fiddly proccess but it was worth it! What a piece!
