y BEdesign was founded by us, sisters Bette and Cilla Eklund in the fall of 2012. Bette is responsible for the product design and of developing the artistic vision of the company, while Cilla is responsible for the business development. We are passionate about nature, having grown up on a farm and spent our childhood being surrounded by animals and outdoor life. For us, nature’s ingenuity works as a constant source of inspiration and strength for our everyday living. Combined with our family roots in Finnish architecture, arts and design, the design language is a mix of both worlds. Great emphasis is put in aesthetics, functionality as well as outstanding quality materials. The journey from idea to product can sometimes be long, while the simplest line drawn on a piece of paper can be the beginning of a future classic. For us design is about quality, craftsmanship and telling the story how our design is shaped from our inspiration to the finished product. Our designs are made from us to you with dedication and love. We believe in timelessness – design items that will bring joy for years to come. For us, this means creating products that are functional and aesthetically pleasing. The materials we use are chosen for their durability and suitability to the intended use. Our matter of heart is a well-crafted product that is well thought out down to the smallest details.
