Hiort af Ornäs originally designed Näyttely table and chairs for Finnish embassies in 1955 and they work equally well in private homes of today. Together, they form a balanced and elegant dining setting where refined details meet everyday functionality.

Näyttely chair is defined by its distinctive hand-braided leather backrest – an intricate detail that brings softness and sophistication to its minimalist solid wood frame. The braiding of the backrest and the upholstery are handcrafted and take a skilled craftsman a whole day to make. Made from natural materials, the chair is a durable piece that will acquire a beautiful patina over time.

Hiort af Ornäs originally designed the Näyttely display cabinet in 1955 as an interior element for Finnish embassies. It combines timeless form with a light, airy presence, as its glass structure allows light to flow through while gently highlighting treasured objects and keeping them protected.

Available in multiple sizes and a range of materials and finishes, Näyttely adapts beautifully to different interiors. Each cabinet is still handmade in Finland to the finest detail using the same original methods.
