# Comment as-tu pensé la scénographie The Beginning ?
Je suis partie de l’imaginaire du chantier, ce moment indéfini, où tout reste possible.
Il y a une base, une surface, des proportions, des ouvertures, une situation. Mais ce qui est dessiné n’est pas encore visible.

# Comment va évoluer le style Sandra Benhamou en 2025 ?
Naturellement, et à l’équilibre.

Nous sommes très heureux d’inviter Vincent Frederic-Colombo et sa marque C.R.E.O.L.E pour la fête des puces le 26 septembre 2024. L’occasion de célébrer le goût français, généreux et avant-gardiste.

Vincent Frederic-Colombo appartient à ceux qui dessinent l’époque. En mélangeant son héritage antillais et son amour de la mode expérimentale, Vincent s’impose comme un designer à suivre. Pour Pradier-Jeauneau, il est naturel de collaborer avec les créateurs qui questionnent l’histoire. C.R.E.O.L.E est faite de lignes fortes qui dialoguent avec le design historique comme Charlotte Perriand, ou le mobilier contemporain comme Axel Chay.

We are very happy to invite Vincent Frederic-Colombo and his brand C.R.E.O.L.E for the Flea Market Annual Party on September 26, 2024. The opportunity to celebrate French, generous and avant-garde taste. Vincent Frederic-Colombo belongs to those who designed the era. By mixing his Caribbean heritage and his love of experimental fashion, Vincent has established himself as a designer to follow. For Pradier-Jeauneau, it is natural to collaborate with creators who question history. C.R.E.O.L.E is made of strong lines that dialogue with historical design like Charlotte Perriand, or contemporary furniture like Axel Chay.

La première fois que j’ai rencontré Sandra, c’était aux puces, devant notre stand, alors qu’elle chinait les trésors qui orneraient ses décors. Sandra m’avait frappé par son immense gentillesse et son œil aiguisé.
Au fur et à mesure des années, nous avons noués un lien, basé sur notre goût du beau et un respect mutuel. Lorsque nous préparions notre première exposition à la galerie au 32 rue de Verneuil, il a semblé évident à Aurélien et moi d’inviter Sandra à signer notre scénographie. Sandra comprend les objets, et elle crée un dialogue fécond entre les pièces.
Délicate, précise, la scénographie pensée par Sandra est pleine de grace. L’architecte d’intérieur a inventé pour nous une harmonie, mi-musicale mi-matérielle. En redessinant sans effets notre nouvel espace, elle nous a autorisés à devenir galeristes.

The first time I met Sandra it was at the flea market, in front of our booth, while she was hunting for treasures that would be in her interior designs. Sandra struck me with her immense kindness and her unique flair. Over the years, we have formed a bond, based on our taste for beauty and mutual respect. When we were preparing our first exhibition at the gallery at 32 rue de Verneuil, it seemed obvious to Aurélien and me to invite Sandra to imagine our scenography. Sandra understands the objects, and she creates a fruitful dialogue between the pieces. Delicate, precise, the scenography designed by Sandra is full of grace. The interior designer invented a harmony for us, half-musical, half-material. By redesigning our new space without effects, she authorized us to become gallery owners. Thank you Sandra. J.

For this first exhibition in our gallery 32 rue de Verneuil, we wanted to bring together three figures of contemporary French creation whose research resonates with each other.
Ollie, the furniture collection designed by Mathieu Delacroix; Singular Images, the series of paintings created by Anaïs Vindel for the exhibition; and The Beginning, a scenography by Sandra Benhamou.
Vindel, Delacroix and Benhamou, all three have a unique look at the world, with tenderness, subtlety and evocation. The Beginning is an ode to kindness that surprises with its aesthetic and reflective force. An aesthetic revolution as deep as melancholy.

Pour cette première installation au sein de notre galerie 32 rue de Verneuil, nous avons souhaité réunir trois figures trois figures de la création française actuelle dont les recherches résonnent les unes avec les autres. Ollie, la collection de mobilier imaginée par Mathieu Delacroix ; Singular Images, la série d’œuvres sur toile créée par Anaïs Vindel pour l’exposition ; et Le Commencement, une scénographie pensée par Sandra Benhamou.
Vindel, Delacroix et Benhamou portent tous les trois un regard singulier sur le monde, empreint de tendresse, de subtilité et d’évocation. Le Commencement est une ode à la douceur qui surprend par sa force réflexive.
Un révolution esthétique aussi profonde que la mélancolie.

THE BEGINNING
The 1st design from Mathieu Delacroix was the screen: the claustra which mobilizes Charlotte Perriand’s creation, the japanese movable walls and the alcoves which create this piece of architecture, modest and useful. Born in 1991, Mathieu’s work speak for itself. His drawing is sincere and his work approach is honest. His talent develop long-term collaborations: with Guillaume Delvigne in particular, then at Pradier-Jeauneau where the Ollie collection is growing ! 

LESS IS MORE
He is a designer, with a pronounced taste for furniture. The one who serves, and who tells his story quietly. Winner of the prestigious Orange Young Designer competition in 2013, he won first prize from the french company Cinna in 2018 for a series of wooden vases. Never far from the sculpture he discovered after high school, Mathieu Delacroix considers the pieces he designs by their raw mass in space. An armchair for him is a cube, a stool a rectangle. The rest is scratched, pruned and emptied. It’s about exhausting the line, pushing it into its purest expression: his first emotions turned towards the chair of the Danish Verner Panton evolved, through the exercise of the eye and the diligent practice of drawing, towards the work of Donald Judd, or the studio of Japanese designer Oki Sato, Nendo.
