All dry and ready for the next chapter.

Today’s picking for the sander is some very well seasoned Wild Service Tree with spalting and ripple figuring, Yew from Sarum Castle grounds, Yew from Somerley Estate and Holly from an estate in Lymington. All this timber will be for sale at my stand at Stock Gaylard Estate Oak Fair, 26-27th August.

Today’s selection for The Oak Fair is this large Black Mulberry. The sander is 900mm capacity and we had to nip-in the widest corners. The timber was sawn 2017 by me. This tree grew in New Forest and dated in excess of 200 years old.
