The club were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former Scotland international footballer Jimmy Bone.

From the very beginning Jimmy came along to many a training session to do some coaching over the years. He provided us with his knowledge of the game and every player loved his sessions.

His passion, energy that he had for the game was second to none.

A great coach, friend of the club and an overall great human being, who will be missed by many.

We appreciated everything you did for the club.

The club would like to pass on our condolences to all affected by Jimmy’s passing.

Our second game of the season see us travel over the bridge to Grangemouth, to face last seasons champions Westfield Colts at Little Kerse on Saturday at 2pm.

We look to add from our victory on Saturday against Tullibody, while Westfield are looking to bounce back after a defeat to Dollar, so it’s sure to be a cracking game.

We have a great management team at the club with a wealth of experience. We are glad to keep Tam at the club and we are delighted to added in Kevin Cook as his assistant. They have been working hard with the team during preseason and their efforts were rewarded today with an impressive opening victory at home.

⚽️⚽️ Kincardine 7 - 1 Tullibody ⚽️⚽️

We kicked off our league campaign with an emphatic victory at home today.

We started the game brightly and were on top from the first whistle. Our first goal came on the 10th minute when a Jozef MacIntosh cross hit off the defenders raised arm. Dale Allan stepped up and slotted it past the keeper to score his first league goal for the club. Our lead however was cut short when the opposition attacker was brought down in the box on the 14th minute, which they scored from the spot. The away team nearly took the lead when their winger cut in from the left hand side, and only a good save from Sean Murphy kept it at 1-1. We then doubled our lead on the 25th minute when a great ball over the top from Allan released MacIntosh down the right and he cut it back for Reece Strathearn to slot it into the bottom corner, another league debut goal. We then went 3-1 up when MacIntosh knocked in his own rebound 5 minutes later. HT 3-1, half time substitution, Ross Kyle on for Murphy.

Onto the second half and as we had done in the first we took full control and made it 4-1 on 49th minute as another penalty was awarded for a challenge on Allan in the box, Allan stepped up to double his tally for the day. Arron Carson was then introduced for Strathearn on 58th Minute. The 5th came on the 63rd Minute when a good ball was played to Gareth Thomas on the edge of the area, one touch and then rifled into the top corner. 64th minute Connor Armstrong on Ryan Millar. 2 Trialist on for MacIntosh and Allan. On the 75th Minute Ally McCallum slotted away another penalty that was awarded for another handball. We finished off the scoring on the 86th Minute when Thomas scored straight from the corner sneaking in at the back post.

We finished our preseason fixtures with a good win against last seasons East Of Scotland Cup semi finalists, another good workout for the lads and should some real spirit to win the game after being 3-1 down.
