Before & after....This lovely victorian nursing chair, now looking lovely and current in this lovely sky blue fabric by Romo, is finally going back home after a complete restoration job! I feel so lucky to have been able to work on it!! Now on to the next before Xmas break

When a revamp of seat pads is all that is needed 💚

Another partial restoration of this lovely heirloom for a client who is, according to his own words, obsessed with the London railway and its colours! He thought the choice of fabric would go perfectly with his house decor. If you're in London or have ever been to London and had to catch the train at some stage, I think you would agree these are the train colours 😊.

We also made the lovely frame pop again by reconditioning the wood but at the same time keeping its history, as requested.

I'm very happy to have been able to make his vision come to life!

A tardy post to share final product!! Nonetheless I think it is worth sharing another special restoration. A Lovely ercol heirloom! Frame reverted to its original dark colour and fresh reupholstered backrest. The client came to us seeking help after giving a go at attempting to reupholster the back herself but decided professional help was needed. However, I must say she did a good job on the seat cushion 💚. However, after seeing and feeling the back, she decided to replace the horse hair, which the cushion was largely made of, for foam. Great choice! She is chuffed with the result! 💚💚

Apparently I have become the queen of Ercol chair webbing replacement!!! 🎉🥳
One more of our list...This one belongs to a pair from the same client we helped last year.
Fun fact: only a few of this model Ercol armchair was released back when they came up with this design. . Our client is for sure one lucky lady to have them! Webbing set is being changed after 35 years!
Now it's time to treat this one to a new set of Pirelli webbing. 💚
