Does anyone know any good labourers in the wigton/Penrith area?? Need one asap must have a drivers license and own transport

Our digger and post knocker in action last week, new stock net fence with double barb and breast wire, customer was very happy but the cows 🐄 didn’t look so happy 😀

🔥2021/2022 Firewood Update 🔥

We have made a few changes to this season:

✅ new price for a ton dumpy bag is £85 and this is for mixed hardwood.

✅ we cannot offer discounts for bulk orders, we’ve priced the wood as low as we can go.

✅ we can only confirm a delivery day once we have a trailer full, therefore ideally we need a weeks notice.

✅ BACS payments must be made on the day of delivery but cash is still accepted too.

Firewood is our seasonal business, we also have our landscaping business which is continuing to grow and do really well so we don’t deliver wood every day.

A quick three day job complete. We built a small retaining wall topped with some Indian flags. Garden was graded to allow water to drain away from the property, filled with top soil and finished off with some freshly lifted turf.

South Lakes Firewood and Landscaping are looking for a casual labourer for temporary work in and around the South Lakes.
Ideally the right person will have:
Driving licence
Agricultural experience
Chainsaw experience
Landscaping experience
Fencing experience

Initially this is for one weeks work w/c 5th April but will possibly lead to further work for the right person.

Finally managed to get the patio and path pointed yesterday. We paved it 3 weeks ago using Yorkshire flags that originally came out of the barn. We battled snow, rain and ice but finally the sun came out and rising temperatures this week allowed us to point it yesterday. Hard graft, lots of lifting cutting and cursing but really happy with the end result! Couldn’t have done it without Levi Murray putting in the graft!! Well done mate 👍
