It’s and Monty has been busy helping to prep oak for this weeks ‘Make a pair of side tables’ class 🐶

Stephen popped down from South Wales to spend a day in the workshop with us, here’s the result of his Taster Day, another quality Ash cutlers stool (plus the quality control spaniel 🐶)

Father’s Day is this coming Sunday…. A woodworking class makes an excellent gift 😉

Tony with his console table, made from English oak, finished with Osmo hardwax oil and obviously with help from Monty 🤣

It is rather hot here in Hampshire 🥵 we’ve had a lovely though lazy bank holiday and celebrated my mum’s birthday 🎂

It is a bit too hot for Monty dog and I to be in the workshop so we are working from home until it cools down a bit, with added bonus woof Max who is also not enjoying the heat!

How is everyone else coping with the current heatwave?

and yes the boys have taken up residence in the coolest spot 🤣

Clare with her completed pot plant stand, this one is made from ash, with through mortice and tenons and walnut wedges for a little colour contrast 👌

Monty dog seemed pretty impressed with it too 🐶
