Van due for test last week and for about the 3rd in 12 months someone decided to help themselves to the cover of the number plate lights. So I decided to try get LED lights that screws in. I was told about a fella called Joe in Derrylin and word was joe is a very helpful fella. So quick phone call to joe and true to his name he said he’d get some in. Anyone needing LED lights this man is worth the call. Very very helpful and nice fella. So much so I’ll be ordering more LED lights from him. See photos for his details.

We have a limited amount of Ash firewood coming into stock early next week in bulk bags. Due to the weight of Ash in bulk bags it may not be possible to pull and drop the bulk bag on the ground. Might have to be rolled out of the van with bag falling over. Bulk bags are priced at €90 each. I’m a bit late with the Xmas wishes. I’d like to wish all our loyal customers the very best of luck over the Xmas season. I want to thank yous for your support and helping my small business grow. To date it’s been a brilliant season. Some one said to be about a month ago I should advertise more. My answer to him was I don’t want to use my energy trying to get new customers, I want to use my energy keeping my customers. Great way of bringing home and storing the turf.

We’re back doing deliveries around the monaghan area. Unfortunately due to bad experience last season and left out a pocket of €2225 anyone that wants to pay via Revolut must pay the evening before delivery. No online payment, no delivery. I’m a one man show here so whatever free time I have I don’t want it chasing after payments. Nor will there be anymore “I’ll sort u out next week”. Try that with ur local supermarket, eBay and amazon and see how that works out.

What a dirty wet evening. No other way to enjoy it other than a turf and firewood fire and chill. Something about a cosy fire, glass of wine and listening to the rain falling outside that helps me relax.

Price of firewood is set to raise a fair jump in the winter time. At the moment we have netted firewood at old price. Now really is the time to stock up if u have space
