A beautifully proportioned early 19th century mahogany longcase clock by Ganthony of London, dating to around 1825.

Of a slightly smaller scale than many, this elegant piece is perfect for modern interiors while still offering all the presence and craftsmanship you would expect from a fine Georgian clock. The eight-day movement strikes the hours on a bell, and the finely engraved silvered dial is signed “Ganthony, 83 Cheapside, London”.

Richard Pinfold Ganthony was a respected member of the Clockmakers’ Company from 1821 until 1845, continuing a family tradition of horology in London.

A timeless piece with real character and history.

A truly exceptional piece by Gillows of Lancaster ✨

This William IV rosewood writing / reading / work table (c.1835–40) is a wonderful example of the ingenuity and craftsmanship the firm is known for.

Beautifully made and highly versatile, it features an original tooled leather writing surface that slides and adjusts in height, along with folding side leaves supported by lopers — allowing the table to extend from a compact 28” to an impressive 47”.

The interior is just as considered, with fitted drawers for writing implements and ink, alongside additional mahogany-lined storage. All raised on elegant reeded legs with original brass castors.

A refined, practical piece with real presence — and increasingly hard to find in this condition.

£3,950

Height: 29” | Depth: 17” | Width: 28”–47”

A special table that would suit both period and contemporary interiors beautifully.

A really beautiful pair of Regency table lustres ✨

These early 19th century cut-glass lustres (c.1800–1830) are full of delicate detail — from the finely cut radial bases to the faceted ‘pineapple’ stems and softly shimmering icicle drops.

They catch the light in such a lovely way, adding movement and sparkle without being over the top. Perfect on a mantel, side table or as part of a more layered display.

It’s getting harder to find a good matching pair like this.

£695

Height: 17 cm | Width: 10 cm

A special pair that would sit comfortably in both traditional and more contemporary interiors.
