Eileen's TV stand now matches her sideboard and is ready to go back home tomorrow ☺️

I love creating mood boards for my clients 😊

They give me their brief and send me a few photos of the room the piece will be going in, then I go away and come up with a couple of different options.

My new client Helen has chosen the first option for this little Stag HiFi unit which will be transformed into a dinky little drinks cabinet!

Can't wait to get started, but first I need to complete a whole Stag bedroom set! Better get sanding!! 😀

Another piece for Eileen. This little magazine rack had sentimental value and although it's damaged on one side she wanted to give it a freshen up! Also painted in coatpaints, this one was from an emulsion tester pot so I waxed it to give it a nice sheen and for more durability.

Colour Sonder

Eileen's sideboard is finished, delivered and we collected the TV stand yesterday evening and it will be painted to match!

I used Coat Paints in eggshell and I was very impressed with the application and finish. This colour is Darlington.

Currently in the studio are these two pieces for Eileen, my lovely local customer who has become another of my regular clients 😊

The sideboard and a matching TV stand which will be done next are having a simple update with the doors and drawers painted and the top being left wooden.

I'm using coatpaints this time as Eileen found the colour she was after. Not used them before so hopefully it will be a good experience!

The little magazine rack is also getting a refresh in a different colour of coatpaints.

Georgina has done an amazing job revamping my beloved piece of inherited furniture. I trusted her from the start to turn my very much used and worn bureau into a purple dream! She understood my vision from the get go. We discussed colour and wall paper samples, I had very definate ideas of what my vision was for this piece. From collection to delivering it back, Georgina kept in touch and sent progress photos. She discussed every repair needed, every decision about replacing and repairing beading, getting keys replaced for the locks, replaced the backing as this had become moldy.

What a transformation!!!

Emma wanted to restore her Grandmother's bureau and bookcase and she had a vision!

Her favourite colour is ... can you guess? 💜💜💜

The bureau was in quite bad repair and it needed quite a lot of work to get it back its former glory! We replaced the beading and the back of both the bureau and bookcase, and fixed the drop down mechanism. The keys had also been lost so we had new keys cut for the locks.

Fusion Mineral Paint UK had the perfect colours to bring Emma's vision to life! We used the fabulous Velvet Plum and Lavender Haze on the inside both complimenting the gorgeous William Morris style paper perfectly!

The inside was given just as much love as the outside and I think you'll agree it's now ready to start its new life as a craft table for Emma to use for many years to come 💜

All done! I'm not sure Dad would approve of the colour but at least it's looking better! 😀
