“GA did a brilliant job of remodelling our kitchen to fit in a new cooker.”

This was exactly the kind of tricky fabrication job our team enjoys solving. The customer needed a stainless steel worktop remodelled to accommodate a new freestanding cooker, and we were pleased to make it work.

Thank you, tootrocker, for the brilliant five-star review and for recognising the team’s hard work.

A gate should do more than fill a gap.

It needs to suit the opening, work smoothly, provide the level of security required and look right for the property.

G.A. Fabrications designs and makes bespoke gates, railings and fencing for domestic and commercial customers. We can also help with suitable repairs, alterations and replacement metalwork.

Delivery and installation are available, giving customers one team to speak to from the first conversation through to the finished result.

You do not always need a finished technical drawing to start a fabrication project.

G.A. Fabrications can work from an initial idea, a sketch, measurements, an existing component or a full set of drawings. We can also support the design stage with CAD before fabrication begins.

The important part is understanding what the finished item needs to do, where it needs to fit and what demands will be placed on it.

Have a metalwork problem but not a finished design? Talk it through with our team.

Restaurant refurbishments often need metalwork made for a very particular space.

Standard sizes do not always suit the layout, design or practical demands of a busy hospitality setting.

We support restaurant owners, designers and fit-out contractors with bespoke frames, shelving, screens, supports, brackets, fixtures and other fabricated items where suitable.

From an initial idea through to delivery and installation, the focus is on creating metalwork that fits properly and does the job it was designed for.

A new cooker. One stainless steel worktop standing in the way.

Our customer wanted a new freestanding cooker, but her existing stainless steel worktop needed cutting and remodelling to accommodate it.

She had struggled to find anyone willing to take on the job. That’s where we stepped in.

We adapted the worktop to make room for the new cooker, putting our stainless steel fabrication skills to work in a home kitchen.

Take a look through the photos: the first two show the kitchen before, followed by the stripped-out stage and the finished result.

A damaged or discontinued metal component does not always mean replacing the whole piece of equipment.

In some cases, an existing part can be used as a reference to reproduce a suitable replacement.

We will need to understand the material, measurements, function and stresses involved before confirming what is possible, but bringing the original item gives us a useful place to start.

It is one of the ways bespoke fabrication can solve a very practical problem.

Our minimum order value is £150. Contact us to discuss the part you need.

Specialist equipment needs more than general metalwork.

For vacuum and ultra-high vacuum applications, accuracy, material choice and careful fabrication all matter.

G.A. Fabrications supports specialist engineering, scientific and research projects with stainless steel tubes, support frames, testing stations, brackets, fixtures and custom rigs.

We can work from technical drawings and specifications, with CAD design and prototype manufacturing also available where required.

A reliable fabrication quote depends on more than a quick description of the job.

Useful information includes:

What the item needs to do
Measurements or drawings
Preferred material, if known
Quantity required
The finish needed
Any delivery or installation requirements
Your required timescale

The clearer the brief, the easier it is to give an accurate price and a realistic lead time.

If you are unsure about any of these details, speak to us. We can help identify what is needed.

Please note that our minimum order value is £150.
