Throwback Monday....
1990 and we had just removed a greenhouse and turfed this huge area of stoney horrible ground @ Crossgates Bellshill.
De-stoned, rotovated, levelled then we added 10 tonnes of topsoil, 10 tonnes of sharp sand and a tonne of compost before laying 300 square meters of turf.
(All from Drumclog, back in the days where there was real competition between multiple turf suppliers around!) Unfortunately this was the only surviving photo from the job I could find 😕 Crazy to think that child will be in their 40's! 😬
