This Parker Knoll 70’s Wing Back arm chair was certainly worth updating.
They were built to last and hold a timeless style in any room.
I’ve relined, added cotton wool filling where necessary to restore the shape from wear and tear, and created an as new statement piece by covering with the chosen fabric, by Vanessa Arbuthnott, Tomato shade, which is a fresh and classic linen blend.

This chair has a sentimental value to the client. It was her husband’s nursing chair when he was a baby and so she decided to give it a pride of place in their little girls bedroom, after deciding to give it a second chance with a complete restoration and revamp.
It’s had the old stain and polish removed and now has a natural oak waxed finish.
The beautiful Linwood fabric is a linen mix Wiggle pattern in shade Marmalade, and looks fantastic against the natural oak.
All ready for many more years of happy memories!
