Beachcomber in Sand, finished with a whipped edge.

A stair runner on a staircase with a bit of character. The rounded bottom step is fully wrapped, the landings are cut around the newel posts, and the whipped edge gives every side a soft, hand-finished line against the painted treads.

Paired with antique brass stair rods, it sits really nicely with the panelling and the oak below.

Chic herringbone from Victorious by Victoria, in brushed and smoked oak 🪵 Lots of knots and variation in the grain, and the warm tone sits nicely alongside the pine doors and skirting.

It's an engineered oak, so there's a real oak top layer on a multi-layer core. That makes it more stable than solid wood when a room warms up and cools down, which is useful with a wood burner going in winter 🔥 The UV lacquered finish also means it's easy to keep clean day to day.

Our team fitted this one throughout the room. Herringbone takes a lot of careful cutting, especially around a hearth like this, and with 90mm x 400mm blocks there are plenty of them to get right 📐
