Who be these interlopers?!

I think most small business owners they'll tell you they're in it for the love of the craft. Me included.
Being in the workshop is one off the most fulfilling things I do in my life. There aren't many things better than seeing the beauty of the wood come alive by working it, revealing the grain and creating the shapes.
These two sets are my favourites, the oak rails and the sapele pinches. Partly the enjoyment of working the particular timber but mostly the idea of creating something beautiful out of a simple plank of wood. It brings me immense joy and gratitude to be alive.

First visit to tonight, the newest and shiniest Lancashire wall. I had a great time and was made to feel very welcome. It punches well above it's weight. The setting is fantastic with a great variety of angles and styles from the delicate to the powerful. It's only to be expected from two of Lancashire's finest. If you're in the area you should give it a go. I need to go back for the coffee... It was too late for a brew tonight...😳☕👌💪
