Ready to leave our factory and head to its new home in Buckinghamshire.

This 1500mm Southampton Seat was made for Chepping Wycombe Parish Council and photographed outside our factory before being carefully packed for delivery. The order also included a personalised satin polished brass memorial plaque, which we recessed neatly into the top slat.

The seat is supplied fully assembled, helping to make installation on site as straightforward as possible. We also fit the plaque before despatch using anti vandal fixings, so everything arrives ready for the customer.

The combination of warm timber, low maintenance GRP legs and a personalised memorial plaque creates an attractive and practical seat designed for long term use in a public setting.

We always enjoy seeing a finished piece ready to leave the factory, especially when it has been created to commemorate someone special.

When an old seat reaches the end of its life, the right replacement can make all the difference.

Birdham Parish Council contacted Neptune Street Furniture about replacing the broken seat beside the village memorial. The existing seat had reached the end of its life, so our team attended site, removed it, cut the old concrete legs back flush with the base and installed a new 1800mm Avenue Seat in its place.

The new seat combines traditional cast iron ends with recycled plastic slats, making it a great choice for a public setting. It keeps the familiar appearance of a classic park seat while being designed to last for many years with very little maintenance.

As the before, during and after photos show, it is a real transformation and a much more practical long term solution for the village green.
