Goldilocks had it sorted: not too hard, not too soft, just right 🐻

A good mattress is comfy enough to relax on but supportive enough to keep your spine nicely aligned. Side sleepers usually want a bit more give at the shoulders and hips.

Our six hand-picked mattresses are all here to try. Pop along to Wimborne Road or ring 01202 574888.

If you fancy a smart wood look without the worry, laminate is worth a look. Quick-Step, one of the ranges we stock, say their laminate is 100% waterproof thanks to its HydroSeal edge coating, and their Scratch Guard top layer is more resistant to micro-scratches than standard laminate.

Their own tips: put a doormat by any door to the garden, and lift furniture rather than dragging it. A regular claw trim helps too (sorry, Rover).

Keeping that cover valid usually means new underlay and a proper professional fit. We take care of both.

A squeaky bed has a habit of announcing every wriggle..😉

A creaky frame or tired slats can leave your mattress sagging too. Our solid frames and divans are built to last and hold firm, whatever or whoever you're wriggling around with 🤣

Not sleeping as well as you used to? It might be the mattress 😴

The Sleep Charity (with Bed Advice UK) suggest a few checks. Do you wake with aches and pains? Is it lumpy, or do you roll into the middle? Have you had it more than seven to ten years? Sleeping better in other beds is another classic sign.

If a few of those ring true, it may be time for a change. We've got six hand-picked mattresses in store that you can try properly, so there's no online guesswork.

Any questions, just pop in or ring 01202 574888.

Spilt something on the carpet? Don't panic, and try not to rub it in 🧽

Cormar Carpets (one of the ranges we stock) say the golden rule is to act straight away. Blot with a clean, dry white cloth or kitchen towel, working from the outside of the stain inwards so it doesn't spread, then dab gently with a damp cloth and warm water. Patience beats scrubbing every time.

Ever bought a mattress online and thought… this just doesn't feel right? You're not alone, plenty of people end up regretting it 😴

The Sleep Charity suggests lying on a shortlist of mattresses for at least five minutes, moving into the positions you actually sleep in (not just on your back). That's the only real way to know.

We've got six hand-picked mattresses in store, the best option at each price point, and you're welcome to try every one properly.
