Amber Radiator Covers

Tufnell’s courier service have gone into administration on the 12th June leaving us with no courier to carry our large items? So we have removed our larger radiator cover options until we resolve our delivery issues, apologies for any inconvenience.

We are closing our workshop on the 21st of December and we re open on the 3rd of January 2023.

We would advise people to install radiator cover wall brackets with caution especially in new build houses!
we have had some bad experiences our selves in new build homes with the new plastic pipe heating systems?

Heating engineers seem to install pipes in the fabric of the building (under plastered walls) but are not using the installation safe zones that other trades use like electricians? (diagram attached of safe installation routes for items installed into the fabric of the building).

As you can see where there are utilities (cables etc) installed into the fabric the building there has to be an accessory out-let on the surface to indicate there are installed utilities, the outlet indicates there are services running vertically or horizontally installed in the fabric from the out let? and these zones are to be drilled with extreme caution as not to damage the services.

The images shows where we went to fix the radiator cover wall bracket, the other image is of the pipe work exposed after we had damaged the hidden pipe work and emptied the central heating system onto the customers carpet?

Thea radiator was installed with the pipes running vertically from the centre to the radiator up the wall.

We did check this before drilling into the wall by looking under/behind the radiator where we could see that the pipes curled from the control valves of the radiator into an accessory box behind the centre of the radiator vertically.

But then at a arbitrary height up the wall the pipe work changed direction at another angle?

The heating system was not running so the wall was not warm to the touch and a device to detect installed items in wall would not detect plastic pipes so this is a hidden disaster?

Please be carful in new build houses?

We are breaking up for the festive holiday on the 22nd of December and we re open in the 4th of January 2022.

This is our traditional design (studley) cabinet finished in satin white with a Regency brass grille on the front openings and a mahogany veneer top shelf.

This photo was sent in from one of our customers, we custom painted the cabinet in satin white and the horizontal grille was painted to match the decor, our customer was so please they sent us this photo.

This photo was sent to us by a local customer based in Leeds West Yorkshire, this is our modern design cabinet finished in satin black with a silver interwoven grille.

Our customer from Poundbury in Dorchester sent us this picture of our Classic design radiator cabinet with a horizontally slatted grille, we manufactured this to fit in a very tight space between two door openings .

One of customers from Saxilby in Lincolnshire sent us these pictures of there recently instaled radiator covers from our selves, all are in our modern design, two were finished in satin white and the last cover in natural oak veneer .

Here is a photo from one of our customers from derbyshire, they kindly sent us a photo of there radiaor cover installed, the cabinet is our modern design finished in natural oak veneer and a horizontal grille on the front openings .

We will be closing down our workshop on the 18th of December 2020 for the Christmas period and we will re open on january the 4th 2021.

We aim to get as many of our orders completed as possible before we close down.
