This gorgeous vintage armchair is now looking for a new home 💚🩷

Fully reupholstered from the frame up in a fresh green and cream zigzag fabric from Linwood Fabric, with contrast pink piping and button details.

The wooden frame has been carefully sanded and oiled to bring out the warmth and character of the original wood in this mid century Beautility armchair.

A beautiful statement piece, combining its original vintage character with a fresh, playful finish — and ready for many more years of use.

I upholstered this armchair for Abraham Moon in a rich, earthy brown Melton wool from one of their staple collections.

With interiors moving towards warmer, more natural colour palettes, shades like chocolate, taupe, stone and terracotta feel both contemporary and timeless — and wool gives them so much depth and texture.

Sometimes the simplest pieces are the most technically challenging.

This chair may look clean and understated, but its flowing curves and continuous silhouette made it anything but straightforward to upholster.

The challenge wasn't the pattern – it was getting the fabric to flow around every curve without a single crease while keeping the chair's sculptural form intact.
