Hi my name is Steve and i have been building, tinkering and restoring cars for many years, my first vehicle a mini at the age of 16, and yes I couldn't even drive it. Cars and machinery are so much more than a job or a hobby for me, they are a passion. I have seriously lost count of the amount of projects I have had over the years, my current one is another old school mini.

So this vehicle was a OMG 😳 job,
Customer complains of noisy brakes🔊 and on investigation🔍 i discovered why🤔. Firstly the brake wear wires had been cut✂️ and spliced🧬 , the slide plates were missing🧐 off the top of the carrier🔝, and I could undo the torx bolts with my fingers🤏.
The slide pins for the caliper were also seized😵‍💫.The biggest shock is, this was a recent job by a vehicle sales centre 😲 .
Big whoops 👨‍🔧🧰.

This water pump had a little bit of a leak 😳 but it had been leaking for a while🙄, there was pink stains visible👀 where the antifreeze had left it's mark🖍. The vehicle was losing fluid fast🏃‍♀️.
New water pump and fresh antifreeze all sorted👨‍🔧

New Turbo Charger due to a crack which was blowing bubbles when warmed up and sticking veins, resulting in low boost👨‍🔧🧰

Not a 5 minute job⏱️due to needing to transfer all the hardware from old to new🤨, plus a few mini repairs elsewhere🧐. 👨‍🔧🧰

These are top strut mounts that failed🙄, when removed to replace i discovered that one of the bearings had been put in upside down🙃, this caused bearing failure😳 and excessive mount wear😧, also the threads of the strut were stripped off😵‍💫, but all sorted now😁👨‍🔧🧰

This is an automatic gearbox oil cooler🌬, unfortunately had an oil leak 🙄, this could have been caused by many factors🤷‍♀️ ,as its positioned in the front of the vehicle behind the bumper➡️🚗, open to all the elements⛈️🌪.

Bit of a thump🐇 on acceleration ⬆️and deceleration ⬇️due to a bottom🍑 engine stabilising mount failure🥴, this causes the engine to swing around🎡 a little bit🤏.
