Penuchadre Organic Dairy- The Milk Hut

Last week we spent a fantastic few days at the Royal Welsh Show.

We were absolutely delighted to come away with a 3rd place for our gelato in a very competitive dairy section – a lovely recognition for all the hard work that’s goes into it.

But, if we’re honest, the award wasn’t the highlight.

Spending the day with family, surrounded by the very best of Welsh farming, food and rural life, was what made this year’s show so special.

The The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society is a fantastic celebration of the people, businesses and communities that keep Welsh agriculture alive, through all the challenges thrown at the sector (man made and natural!).

A huge congratulations to all the winners and competitors and we hope everyone had a wonderful time at the Show.

Say HELLO to our newest flavours. Flake, Mango and Malteaser have just hit the hut and god damn they are good. 🙌
There’s also been a come back of the summer classic Lemon cheesecake. 🍋

This International Women’s Day, we’re proud to celebrate the women who keep our dairy farm running day in, day out. From the early morning milking to caring for our cows and keeping everything moving behind the scenes, we’re lucky to have a team where women make up the majority of our staff.

And of course, farming is always a team effort — so today we also want to thank the brilliant men at Penuchadre Farm, bringing generations worth of knowledge and skill to their work.

Here’s to everyone who rolls up their sleeves, works through the mud, bad weather and the early starts, to produce great food and support British farming.
