Made in Bridgwater.
We’re proud to have played a part in the new Bridgwater Heritage Arts Trail, celebrating the people and industry that have helped shape the town.
As part of the project, our senior craftsman Liam Neal spent around six weeks planning and handcrafting a 12-foot willow sculpture inspired by Bridgwater’s Spirit of Carnival. Somerset Willow donated the time and materials for the project, and members of our team also helped apply weather protection to the other willow artworks created for the trail.
The wider “Made in Bridgwater” Heritage Arts Trail brings together 18 locations across the town, featuring willow artworks and stories that reflect different parts of Bridgwater’s history and identity.
As a family business that has been making willow products in Bridgwater for four generations, we’re thrilled to have contributed our skills to a project celebrating the town we call home.
If you’re following the trail, keep an eye out for him!
