Recently completed for the kitchen and dining areas.

These bespoke bench seating units and table arrangements was supplied and installed by SWU to create a welcoming communal space where students can eat, study and socialise.

This was our second phase of works delivering 35 rooms across the project from survey, manufacture, delivery & installation.

Finished in Egger Grey Bardolino Oak, the integrated seating brings warmth and natural character to the interior, while the Egger White Levanto Marble tabletop introduces a clean, contemporary contrast. The carefully considered layout maximises the available space, providing a practical and comfortable environment for everyday use.

Designed to withstand the demands of busy student accommodation living while maintaining a premium aesthetic, this installation demonstrates how thoughtful design can transform communal areas into spaces people genuinely want to spend time in.

A recent bespoke banquette seating installation completed by the SWU team, designed to bring both comfort and character to this restaurant setting.

The standout feature of this piece is the elegant fluted backrest, which adds depth, texture and a timeless design detail that enhances the overall interior. Upholstered in Panaz Aston Espresso faux leather, the rich, warm tones complement the surroundings beautifully while providing a sophisticated and inviting seating area for guests.

👋 Meet Mike

Mike started his journey at SWU as an apprentice, so he knows our workshop inside and out. Over the years, he’s worked his way up to become our Workshop Supervisor, bringing plenty of experience, skill and dedication to the role.

No job is too big or too small for Mike. He’s always ready to get stuck in, take on a challenge and make sure every job is completed to the best possible standard. He takes real pride in his work and the quality of what leaves our workshop. 🛠️
