What a wonderful evening celebrating 50 years of Aardman Animations 🎬

We were delighted to be invited by Wallace&Gromit'sGrandAppeal to celebrate such an incredible milestone for a truly inconic Bristol-born film company.

Aardman started right here in Bristol, just like us at South West Upholstery, so it was extra special to be part of the celebrations and recognise the amazing creative talent that has come from our city over the past 50 years.

Here’s to 50 years of creativity, characters and unforgettable stories — and I’m sure many more to come 🎉

From Grandad’s back garden shed to a nationwide upholstery company. 🛋️✨

What started as a small family business, built with hard work, passion and plenty of determination, has come a long way since those early days — while still keeping those family values at the heart of everything we do.

Paul is always out and about visiting sites, meeting customers face-to-face and putting a friendly face to our upholstery company. Whether it’s answering questions, offering support or helping with any queries, he’s there to make sure our customers get the support they need.
