Lovely rebuild and upholster of the iconic E Gomme (Gplan) 411 Siesta chair 🪑
This chair was a living memory of my clients childhood home and it was such a pleasure to give it a new lease of life fully rebuilt and dressed in the sumptuous Omega velvets in Tulip and Lawn giving a stylish contrast 🪡 🧵

The iconic Gplan 6250 armchair was dubbed ‘The World’s Most Comfortable Chair’ along with also being ‘The Blofeld Chair’ belonging to James Bond villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

A lovely picture from our interior designer client of a recently completely commission for a project they are working on - a deep and sumptuous French mattress cushion in ticking stripe hand sewn and tufted with a beautiful ‘pie crust’ edge detail. This was really enjoyable to make and I always favour these lovely natural fabrics to work with. 🪡 🧵

This unique vintage occasional chair has been stripped down and traditionally upholstered and covered in Japanese Garden in Jade.

A sentimental piece for my client - this chair sat proudly in the farm house she grew up in. It has been lovingly upholstered in memory of her Mother who loved gardens 🍃

This leather was too thick to go in the buttoner but after a little skiving with my new tool to thin it down and soften it we have a perfect new colour matched button to replace the broken one on my clients sofa 🪡
