Oliver has spent 38 years in the industry, bringing together decades of experience across glazing, doors and windows throughout Kent.

He has also been part of Broadstairs Business Club since it began in 2016, making him one of the club’s longest-standing members.

This morning's Broadstairs Business Club meeting at Thanet Squash Rackets Club was another bumper edition!

28 members attending and no visiting guests.

We started on an Educational theme, with our Chair (Michael Cannon) and Garry Costain from Caremark Thanet, Dover and Canterbury updating us all on their recent communications with, and visits to local schools and colleges. The plan is to form a new sub-Committee focused on supporting local 16-25 year olds by giving them presentations about our own businesses, attending upcoming events, and offering work experience. Watch this space!

The presentation by Mary-Joyce and Teresa from Arthurs Solicitors was really fantastic.
We learned how Mary-Joyce has built the business into a team of 17 with a combined 150 years’ legal experience in just 8 years. And how their quality family law services might apply to us any personal relationship, from initial meeting, to conflict, to separation/divorce, and subsequent children’s arrangements. All keeping their main ethos of personal service and integrity.👏

Not sure how she finds the time(!), but Mary-Joyce also supports the vital work of Oasis Domestic Abuse Service via her role as President of Kent Law Society.

The members asked a LOT of questions, so hopefully there will be plenty of follow-up enquiries and referrals too.👍

We closed the meeting with thanks for referrals given and/or work carried out. We lost count at 14 thank-yous.🙂
