Taking a look back at a project from last year! 🚧

Our team was hard at work dredging on behalf of Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE), helping maintain Scotland’s hydro power locks and keep this vital energy infrastructure operating efficiently. From supporting safe navigation and water flow to helping maintain the long-term performance of the hydro system, it was a project that played an important part in keeping things moving behind the scenes.

Throwback to way back in 2016, when we constructed and installed stoplogs in Salford. Stoplogs may be installed permanently or temporarily to block the flow through a spillway or canal to allow routine maintenance to be carried out. They are often used to create a weir wall and they're also used for flood defence.
