I normally avoid anything with a lot of glass, but this came to me as a commission and I thought it seemed pretty straightforward! Not so, the back panel had rusty screws to remove before stripping a very smelly fabric that had been glued on, I guess it had been there for some years. Then the careful removal of glass shelves and sanding around the glass, lots of preparation before the fun part started. Then when the colour went on and the gorgeous peacock wallpaper was applied, it just all came together and completely transformed a very tired looking veneered unit. 💗

Trying a different brand, I have always used F&B but a client has asked for the Paint Library for her lovely rocking chair to match in with her kitchen. Im really looking forward to trying it out in my spray painting machine. A new brand with lots of new colours to add to my sample strips.💕

Christmas has come early for me, this bundle of gorgeousness was waiting for me at home after a girly shopping trip at the weekend. He is so cute even though he has already chewed my wellies and pulled a few jumpers with his pin sharp nails 🫣💗💗

Lovely 1920s walnut glass display cabinet, it had quite a lot of damage to the veneer so it’s having a fabulous new lease of life with this beautiful peacock wallpaper and F&B paint 💕 a commission piece, I have avoided glass cabinets so far but when I was asked to do this I just knew it could look so amazing, so was happy to take it on. I have painted the plywood back panel with Zinsser 1•2•3 and 2 lines of a coloured paint, closest colour to the paper and this is where the wallpaper will join. Looking forward to getting this completed 💗

The second commission piece, this gorgeous Laura Ashley half moon drawers, hand painted in F&B Cornforth White, the handles are the original ones with a little gold leaf Rub n Buff wax to give them a brighter look. Such a fabulous new look 💗

Finally finished the lovely little chair that now matches the desk I did a few months ago. It was looking a little tired so it was completely stripped, spray painted with F&B Lamp Room Grey and recovered the seat pad. Now it’s got a new life and looking fabulous 💗

This gorgeous dressing table was taken as a commission piece for the lovely . A great colour choice, F&B Cornforth White, and a little detailing with a gold leaf gilding wax, it’s going to look absolutely fabulous in its new home.
