Another sculpture, this time from a chunk of railway sleeper

Guns are a complicated subject. Capable of much harm, but also at the centre of popular culture in filmmaking, video games and music. Our relationship with them isn't straightforward.

What is straightforward is their aesthetics. Straight lines, satisfying mechanics and a savage beauty.

The raw block of oak whispered 'Gun' and that's what it became.
