A pair of bespoke alcove cabinets designed to sit comfortably within the architecture of the room.
Painted shelving with integrated lighting adds depth to the alcoves, while the lower cupboards provide concealed storage below. We also made the panelling around the fireplace to tie the whole composition together.
A calm, balanced piece that works with the room rather than competing with it.
Designed by and made by our team in Chester.

Sometimes a room just needs a little confidence
One of our favourite projects to revisit — a loft space that gave us the freedom to push colour a little further.
● Deep blue framing.
● Slatted oak doors.
● A flash of orange to lift it.
Bold, but balanced.
Designed and built in-house here in Cheshire by our team.

A bespoke kitchen island built in solid oak.
Designed to feel like freestanding furniture rather than a standard boxed unit.
Fluted drawer fronts, aged brass hardware and raised on legs to keep the space feeling light and architectural.
Built in our workshop from first cut to final installation.
Currently taking on bespoke kitchen projects.
Created for in her beautifully designed home. A pleasure to bring this design to life.

Ah Fin… how we miss you. 🐾
Fin was a lovely dog who, unsure at first, really came around to us during the course of the fit — even posing for photos at the end. A proper good boy 🐕
Anyway, back to the job at hand.
This is a custom bookcase with ladder, made for a customer in Cheshire last month.
A tall one too — the photos don’t do the height justice… over 3m floor to cornice.
The ladder is made from oak and tulipwood, hooking over a brass rail secured at the two-thirds point of the cabinet.
With oak internals, detailed front mouldings, the addition of the ladder and rail, and a spray-painted Satin Slipper finish, the whole project really came together and makes a lovely addition to the house.
All designed, made and spray finished in our workshop in Backford, Chester, by a great team of people.
We’ve got a few more ladder projects lined up for early next year, any questions on this project or another, ask away 😃
