An extremely busy week for PotterWoods Furniture, with back to back installations .
But what a way to end the week, before Easter !
Here is one incredible bespoke media unit that we had the pleasure of doing.
The customer had shopped at a “High end” well known furniture outlet, yes there furniture is nice, however it’s not bespoke, imported furniture that’s not hand made just doesn’t cut it.
This piece was made in Essex, in our very own workshop, made by hand, custom design, spray painted and installed.
Lots of little details, from fluted sides, staff beading inside frames and beaded doors.
Pure class !

Made to measure Home Office storage.
You wouldn’t even realise there was a recess in the wall and you certainly would realise there was a really awkward electric fuseboard, meter and god knows what other cabling. But shortly after visiting to measure up, we had an idea, which has now been executed perfectly resulting in a beatiful piece of furniture, but also loads of storage space and hiding away all the ugly cable work, you wouldn’t even know was there now. Spray painted with lovely antique brass handles. A perfectly built piece, perfectly fitted.

We furnished an entire house with freestanding furniture 4 years ago, the customer came back to us after having an extension and loft conversion. They wouldn’t want to use anyone else, they had sloping ceilings and wasn’t sure what to do..
So we built, sprayed and installed this very large fitted wardrobe , just over 18foot long !!!
Making what was before a bit of an awkward space into something really practical, a great feature to the room and it also actually makes the room feel bigger !
