LOOKING FOR RECOMMENDATIONS.
After another delivery day to Scunthorpe, Southport and back home I can confirm I still don’t like distance! 🤣 🛣️ 
I’m after a courier who travels to Scotland frequently. I’m not after the cheapest but would like someone who is highly recommended. Please don’t tag removal companies who quote “we smashed a 2 hour removal”!
Over the years we have set high standards and would like to continue in keeping our customers happy. Please note this would only be the occasional delivery. Many thanks 🙏

Yay! Another delivery! Another failure 😡
You would have thought covering the item in “Fragile” tape would kinda mean it may be fragile. DPD UK and Parcelforce up your bloody game.!!
I have been in my industry for nearly 40 years and I would like to think I have a good idea of how to treat other people’s goods.
If it wasn’t for distance I would clearly be better off delivering myself!!
Ps, I appreciate not all delivery drivers are incompetent… just the ones delivering my goods 😡

Very impressed with the 4 day delivery from Colwyn Bay to Massachusetts! Not so impressed with the delivery outcome! Thank you Royal Mail/Parcel Force. I won’t be recommending 😡

I promise my delivery was out there somewhere!! As much as I love the view I don’t appreciate the early starts. Therefore I’m after recommendations for a courier that travels the country and would be capable of fitting in the odd delivery for me now and then. I’m not after the cheapest, and happy to pay for a quality service. I like to think Coast Antique’s has set high standards over many years with a good reputation so we need a top courier not an average “man with a van”.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Slowly slowly repairs are advancing for shop to reopen. We are still operating and are on hand to assist with any queries you may have. Fingers crossed to no more flooding 🤞

THIS IS NOT THE WAY WE WANTED TO START OFF 2026 OR A SATURDAY EVENING!!
Unfortunately through no fault of our own Coast Antiques will be closed for the foreseeable future.
Until we can assess the full damage and shop repairs carried out it will not be safe to open.
The website will still be in operation and we are still available for all our other usual work.
We will share updates on progress and opening dates.

Coast Antiques will back to business from Monday 5th January.
Out with the old and in with the new! We will be on the lookout for good quality antique furniture and reproduction items.

We also carry out Full or Part house clearances and offer a free valuation. We are part of a team with nearly 40 years experience covering North Wales and beyond.
We don’t claim to be cheaper than skips! (We actually find them useful on bigger jobs)

If anyone can recommend anyone that is able to weld cast iron in North Wales it would be very much appreciated 👍

At Coast Antique’s it seems we are now doing long distance deliveries. From Eastbourne to Brighton to Birmingham and home! With a early start the 4 hours sleep was just enough 😢
