REMINDER – ESC ARLEY CAR PARK

Following a number of complaints from our members this week regarding difficulties finding a parking space, we want to remind everyone about the use of the car park at ESC Arley.

During quieter periods, we are more than happy for local residents and people using the surrounding fields and wider site to make use of the car park where spaces are available. We want to be a positive part of the local community and have no desire to unnecessarily restrict its use.

However, during busy evenings and weekends, we are experiencing a significant number of vehicles using the car park where the occupants are not using the leisure centre. This is unfortunately resulting in our members and other paying customers arriving at ESC Arley and being unable to park.

During these busy periods, leisure centre users must take priority.

We therefore politely ask anyone visiting the wider site, including those attending football training or matches, to use the alternative parking available.

We will continue to monitor the situation and where necessary, will take appropriate action, including the use of ANPR, to ensure parking remains available for our leisure centre customers.

We would much rather everyone simply respects the purpose of the car park so that further measures aren’t necessary.

ESC Arley offers a full timetable of group exercises classes. Here is what our members say about some of the classes and the instructor who take them. Starting with Yoga on a Monday evening at 5pm. If you’ve been thinking about coming along to one of our classes, why not give it a try.

JOINT UPDATE | A NEW CHAPTER BEGINS

Jaguar Cars Sports & Social Club Committee and ELITE Sports UK are pleased to share an important update regarding the future of the Jaguar Cars Sports & Social Club Leisure Centre.

From Monday 20th July 2026, ELITE Sports UK will officially take over the management and day to day operation of the Leisure Centre, working in partnership with the newly elected Committee.

This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, built on a shared commitment to protecting the future of the Centre and continuing to provide the high quality facilities and services that our members, customers, local residents and wider community value.

🚜⚽ Pitch preparation in full swing!

Today was all about getting ready for two fantastic weekends of grassroots football.

While the grass was being cut and 12 pitches were marked out using the Turf Tank, more of the ELITE team were busy preparing the changing rooms, bar, 4G pitch and outdoor areas ready to welcome everyone.

Over the next two weekends, we will host 256 junior, youth, ladies’ and men’s teams from across Cambridge and the surrounding areas for the Willingham Wolves FC annual tournament for the second year running, bringing together thousands of players, coaches and spectators.

A huge amount of work goes on behind the scenes to make events like this possible, and we’re looking forward to seeing the pitches full of football, smiles and memories.
