🕯️ Remembering Aberfan — 60 years on

Today, everyone at Happy Home Furnishers joins communities across Wales and beyond in remembering the 116 children and 28 adults who lost their lives in the Aberfan disaster on 21 October 1966.

Our thoughts are with the families, survivors and all those whose lives were changed forever that day.

We remember the lives so tragically lost, the courage of those who came to help, and the strength of a community that has carried their memory through the generations.

Forever in our hearts. Never forgotten. 🤍

🌟 Happy Tuesday! 🌟

This week, we’re giving a special shout-out to four members of our Happy Home Furnishers team:

👏 Greg at Llansamlet, who received lovely feedback from a customer for his friendly service and welcoming approach.

👏 Scott, who put his practical skills to good use and fixed a troublesome set of doors at our Llansamlet store!

👏 Phil, who went the extra mile by visiting a Port Talbot customer on his day off to help fit her furniture handles.

As a family-run business, we know it’s our people who make the difference. Thank you to these four and to everyone across our team for their hard work and care. 💙

And thank you to our customers who take the time to share their lovely feedback — it means so much! 🏡
