Chicken Milanese with burrata & capers, wood fired pizza - look at that crust 😍, potatoes with truffle oil, Parmesan & saffron aioli & a taster of their beautiful ‘Parma Violet’ Chantilly 💜

All really good but I’d go back just for those potatoes 😊

This weekend has been all about visits and family ❤️ My lovely Aunty Monica regularly makes the visit up from Nottingham to see us all and manages to bind us all together in one way or another. So thanks to Aunty Monica, I also got to see Aunty Janice & Aunty Irene (& one cousin and I think a first cousin once removed! (& my Dad 😀). She’s away again tomorrow but I’ll be heading down to her soon ☺️ 🚐 🇫🇷

Finally picked up my pieces that I threw at back in January. Love the glaze that I chose too. I’ve already used the tiny espresso ‘hug’ cup. 🤎 🤎

Over a year since moving in and I’m down to the last 4 boxes! I’ve had my very old & well used since around 2006 & have definitely missed it for cakes & pastry ☺️

Last year was the 1st year in ? long that I’ve not ordered huge & it just didn’t feel like my house without one.

I know they’re only things but some things can help make you feel just lovely 🥰

Great plans of a quickish multi- tasking 5km didn’t quite pan out.
Otto was in full ball-stealing mode and my 56 year old bladder (TMI?) felt like it was going to burst the minute I had run to West Sands (from East).
No coffee next time and probably no Otto. Want to do a few runs on the sand before the on June 1st

Couldn’t not take the opportunity to grab this lovely 1960s(?) piano that originally came from a closed down local (ish) primary school.

Unfortunately, it didn’t fit through the door at the angle needed so it’s sitting in my conservatory 😂😂 but once the wall comes down in the kitchen at some point next year, it’ll move. For now, I’m feeling very grateful ☺️ (especially to the fabulous Masons boys who moved it for me)!

Learning to play the piano has been on ‘my list’ for years now. Lessons starting in the new year. This is the time 😊🎶🎹🎄
