Crystalmount Sheltered Housing was officially opened on 30th June 1983 by The Duke of Buccleuch KT. Crystalmount has 12 two person flats and 23 one person flats over 4 floors serviced by a lift. There is also 2 bungalows suitable for wheelchair users. There are extensive gardens to the rear of the property. Parking is available for residents, family and visitors but not allocated.

General information
You'll get a self-contained unfurnished flat with a lounge, kitchen, bedroom and private bathroom and/or shower. There's a communal lounge for social activities, and family and friends can even stay on site in our guest bedroom. And, because we are regularly inspected by the Care Inspectorate, you can expect the highest standard of quality and support.
The manager is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the building. They also offer advice and guidance on the facilities within the development and on services in the wider community. They are there to help you get any support or services you may need so you can continue to live independently.

Monday Evenings - Midlothian Volunteer Service provide a range of different activities in our Lounge

We even have a MENs SHEd located in our grounds for use by the residents.
