Our Story

Manchester based workshop of Interior/Furniture Designers and Skilled Craftsmen producing stunning urban furniture and accessories... almost all of the items in the shop have been created specifically for clients who work with the multi-skilled team to design the most perfectly suited and desirable products.... Urban Grain are crazy about interiors and love coming up with clever and beautiful solutions to lifestyle conundrums... They thrive on the challenge of coming up with a new product or sourcing an old one... they also can't help snapping up beautiful pieces of vintage and so the product collection is not only an ever increasing range of industrial newly made to order pieces, there's always a peppering of vintage items in their too... these pieces tend not to hang around for long though... so grab them whilst you can !

The workshop is just one of many units in a converted Victorian Hat Mill in the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution - Manchester - Urban Grain and many of their workshop neighbours could be described as being collectively responsible for a Industrial Revolutionary Renaissance... so many design disciplines and manufacturers reside in a maze of units in this mighty old mill and Urban Grain regularly collaborate with their neighbours to add new and exciting dimensions to their products.... so don't worry if you can't find your ideal piece of furniture or accessory within the current range... just get in touch anyway... chances are what you're looking for can be designed/sourced/made... that's what Urban Grain exist for... what they live, breathe and work for... so get in touch !!
