Made this sweet wee bench from parts of an old pew a customer had stashed away, plus some reclaimed pitch pine that has been waiting for the right project for several years. The workshop smelled great. #reclaimedwood #eastlothian

Having limited space for hoarding leftover wood in my workshop I end up giving quite a bit away, sometimes to the local community shed or individuals who like a project.
Some of it makes it into our own garden bothy where I wired in this wee mirror this morning. Leftover bit of led strip, offcuts of ply and a mirror saved from a strip out several years ago.

I profiled these doors the relatively old fashioned way, spindle moulder, two FULL days of sanding. It was awful. Next time it will be on a CNC router, whizzing up and down all on its own. More on that soon.

Here is a built in dresser completed last week. Birch ply fronts and internals made from black fibracolour MDF from . The fibracolour was a new one for me, looking forward to trying out some of the other colours. Who wants something yellow?

I think you will see the turned uprights appear again in some future shelving, they were fun.

This block is made from a single offcut of ash (from the lochend woodland group if any Dunbar locals are reading this). The slight spalting going through it has resulted in quite fun colour variation
