🔥 ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL PROJECT COMPLETED BY TEAM PHOENIX! 🐦‍🔥

A great visit this week to Via East Midlands Ltd, following the successful completion of their new fully DVSA-approved Tachograph Calibration Lane.

It was a real pleasure to visit the site and see the completed installation, providing the business with a fully approved, purpose-built facility to support its tachograph calibration operations.

At Phoenix Equipment, we take great pride in working alongside businesses across the UK, providing specialist equipment, technical expertise and ongoing support to the commercial vehicle industry.

It’s a genuine pleasure to be supporting Via East Midlands Ltd, and we look forward to building a strong and successful working relationship with the team as they continue to develop their services across the East Midlands.

Phoenix 🐦‍🔥 On-Site Support

A great day today at the new Scania Stockton Depot, supporting the technicians with practical, hands-on tachograph calibration training.

Following the initial training, there can often be a gap before workshop cards are received and technicians can begin carrying out live calibrations. At Phoenix Equipment, we believe it’s vitally important to provide continued support during this stage — helping set up the equipment correctly and working alongside technicians as they complete real-world calibrations.

With the introduction of Smart 2 tachograph systems, there is now considerably more for technicians to understand and manage. That’s why practical, on-site support has become such an important part of what our customers expect from Phoenix.

Training is only the beginning — ongoing technical support is where the real value lies.

We look forward to continuing to support Sally and the team at Scania Stockton as they develop their new tachograph centre.

As our business continues to grow, it’s important that we make our products, technical expertise and support even more accessible to tachograph workshops across the UK.

Our partnership with LPM Truck Parts gives customers throughout Yorkshire and the North East a strong local supply option, with tachograph equipment and workshop parts held on the shelf and available for same-day and emergency delivery.

For Phoenix, this is about much more than simply supplying parts. It’s about working with the right partners who share our commitment to availability, service and customer support.

LPM will be supported directly by the Phoenix team, giving customers the benefit of local stock and delivery backed by Phoenix’s specialist tachograph knowledge and technical support.

We’re really looking forward to working with Tom Leighton and the LPM team and developing the partnership over the coming months.

******* Introducing Matt *********
We are delighted to announce that Matt will be joining Phoenix Equipment Ltd, taking over the role and responsibilities of Andy Dormedy in the Southern region of England.

Andy has been an integral part of Phoenix since the company’s inception in 2019 and will remain with us until the end of October, when he begins his well-earned retirement. Over the past seven years, Andy has played an important role in the development and success of the business, and we would like to sincerely thank him for his dedication, hard work and invaluable contribution.

Matt will work closely with Andy over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition for all customers and a seamless handover of responsibilities. We are delighted to welcome Matt to the Phoenix team and look forward to supporting him as he builds strong relationships with Andy’s customers and settles into his new role.

We wish Andy a long, happy and thoroughly well-deserved retirement, and Matt every success in this exciting new chapter.

A fantastic project for Team Phoenix! 🐦‍🔥🔥

A huge thank you to SGB and Nigel Champion for putting their trust in Phoenix Equipment and choosing us to supply the complete tachograph operation at the fantastic new Scania site in Stockton-on-Tees.

It’s been particularly rewarding for me to watch this project develop, especially with the new facility being just 15 minutes up the road! To see Phoenix play an important part in bringing the site to completion makes me incredibly proud of what our team continues to achieve.

Phoenix has supplied and supported the site with:

• Phoenix SOLOS software
• Phoenix Head Tester
• Phoenix/Stoneridge hardware system, integrated with the MAHA rollers
• Phoenix Matrix Portal
• Stoneridge Optimo 2

A special thank you also goes to Sally McFarlane, Depot Manager, who has worked closely with us throughout the project to ensure everything went smoothly and that all systems and equipment were in place and ready for DVSA approval.
