A post I never thought I’d have to make, but unfortunately someone has been scammed by someone pretending to be us.
They created a Facebook with my name and logo ( how that wasn’t flagged by AI I don’t know ).
Proceeded to message my customers asking for a holding amount.
The bank they gave was to a persons acc not a business acc, but they made it sound so convincing that is was our holding acc.
To clarify, we only accept payment, instore via the card machine or cash, or bank transfer to a Santander business acc under the company name.
If anyone else is messaged going forward or you have any queries please call the work phone or pop into store before parting with any money.
