Working Soho, London.
400 years ago, Huguenot refugees arrived and set up workshops among these same narrow streets — tailors, metalworkers, gold and silversmiths, making things by hand for the wealthy households nearby. The trade changed shape over the centuries. Music halls. Recording studios. Post-production houses stacked three deep above street level.
Working alongside Neville + Neville, we completed the cabinetry, fireplace casings, built-in bench seating and bar joinery.

French oak internal doors — there's history behind these doors.
King Louis XIV's chief minister ordered the mass planting of French oak forests in 1669. The trees, intended for the ships of the French navy, took 200 years to mature, by which time iron ships had come to the fore.
The forests survived and resulted in respected, slow-grown, tight-grained oak which we think deserves to be doors worth noticing.
Obviously, nothing beats the increasingly rare English oak 👀

A softly scalloped fanlight made of six unique arched panes.
A rich, mottled patina, worked by hand to fold into the waves of the door.
A solid bronze handle, cast and shaped with a minimalist curve.
Follow to see where this door becomes an entrance...
