The number 45 chair is one of Finn Juhl's most important designs. Acknowledged as the father of Danish modern design, the architect worked closely with cabinetmaker Niels Vodder to develop the 45 and later licenced the chair to Baker Furniture in the U.S.
This pair are made by Baker, probably from the 1960's.
The Walnut show wood frame has been cleaned and waxed. The upholstery has been stripped back with the old powdery latex removed.
Repholstered with new horse hair and wadding and covered in a Melton wool.
