The clocks are going back, so I guess it definitely no longer counts as summer cycling weather. 😢

This time of year is a great time to book your bicycle in for a service. The workshop is less busy, and I tend to become quite generous with my time, often taking care of quite big repairs without charging more. It's very different to summer when the workshop has bikes stacked floor to ceiling in a long queue.

I'm open for servicing, repairs, general parts sales. Plus, keep an eye out for reconditioned children's bicycles which will be being sold in the run up to Christmas. 🚴‍♂️🔧💪

It's been such a busy couple of months in the workshop and then some time off I don't think I posted that, yes, I did indeed manage to pass the Cytech Technical Two course. Phew! After nearly 30 years of spannering in various forms it would have been quite embarrassing if I didn't. 😅

Cyclegarden will now be CLOSED on Mondays; this includes calls/messages, collections and drop-offs. A full day off, together with my Saturday mornings off (for parkrun) should be better for work-life balance.

Normal working hours (call/message for appointments) can be viewed here on Facebook, and on the website. 🙃🚲🪛

Cyclegarden is closed on the 1st and 2nd of August. I'm hosting "The Railway Relay", a small fun run along the old railway line from Peterhead to Ellon on Sunday the 2nd of August, and Saturday is for preparation. Open for business as normal Monday. Have a great weekend!

After two weeks of Cytech training and some networking, around 160 total miles of Glasgow cycle commuting, I treated myself to a steak burrito and a cool Corona Zero before heading back to Ellon to get back to work and all the servicing and repair appointments arranged for my return!
