So here we have a bespoke Benbecula built especially for Karen's Mum. She was looking for an all-in-one outdoor seat and table designed for 1 to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and wildlife ☺️

So we adjusted our iconic Benbecula to feature a side table and special lip to prevent anything falling off the edge. What do you think?! We've had this in our range for over 6 years, and we've never modified it like this!

Our next upgrade would be to open up and create access to the bottom section, adding another wee table/shelf or leaving it completely open... something for keeping ice cool in the summer month?! (finding it hard to talk about cold things right now, not gona lie 😂)

Furniture workshops in 2026: a wee review ⏮️
Because we've only got 1 space left for this year on the bench workshop in Dec!

Over 125 participants across 25 different sessions (approximately!), covering planters, tables, shelves, bookcases and all sorts of seating 🌍

Thanks so much to those of you who've joined us for a session this year. It sounds like everyone's absolutely loved being in here to build their own furniture, and it's been a joy to see. If you'd like to see it, hopefully we do do more of this in 2027!

I don't think we'll ever get bored of reclaimed scaffold board shelves and the endless configurations they can be made into 🤯

When Sam shared these with us back in August we couldn't wait to share them again! They purchased smooth sanded boards from us then conditioned and finished them with oil and beeswax 🐝

An amazing wee DIY project that we're all jealous of. Hopefully this'll serve as some inspiration for you all to get your spaces organised.
